Branch Session Information

Greeting Freedom Fighters,

It's August and Branch Election Season has officially begun! Here are some things to keep in mind!

Candidate Requirements: (2026 Consent Form Enclosed)

Must be a member in good standing as of April 1st.
Must nominated by the Nominating Committee or a nomination accepted from the floor in the October Meeting.
Adult Unit Presidents, Treasurers, and Secretaries may not be related.

August:

The General Membership of the branch is responsible for choosing the date and time of the November Election.

September:

The Nominating Committee is elected (5-15 members)
The Nominating Committee meets and completes interviews with interested candidates.

October:

Nominating Committee announces slate of candidates
Nominations accepted from the floor
Election Supervisory Committee is elected (5 members)
Secretary collects all consent forms and forwards to the National Office.

November:

The election will run on the date and time the branch selected in August.
The incoming Secretary will complete the Officer Update Form.

Mrs. "Elouise Jones"

Mother Elouise is originally from the Maribel community, but after meeting the love of her life, she followed him to the city of Bayboro. It was there that they began their family of 9 and established a Jones dynasty that will live on in history through the JONES-HARGROVE FAMILY SOCIETY.

This lady is a lifelong member of Antioch Congregational Christian Church where her pastor is none other than the original GPS of Maribel, Rev. Genard Sawyer.

She’s never really busy except when she’s gardening, canning, quilting and watching her beautiful grand and great grandchildren, the joys of her life. If you happen to see her out on her porch as cars buzz by on busy highway 55, honk the horn at her. I think she might just give you a wave and that beautiful smile.

Gregory Brad Cutler, an accomplished author with seven works to his credit, holds a Bachelor's degree from Howard University and a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Georgia State University College of Law. His professional career as an educator spans over 30 years and includes teaching at Howard University and in the NC Community College System. His professional track also includes approximately 20 years of support to the federal government. Having served as a professor, associate pastor, and dean of Christian education, this ordained elder has a profound commitment to seeing the Body of Christ and people in general learn how to embrace the beauty of God's plan for their lives. He is a gifted orator who believes that his responsibility to humanity and creation is "to offer the world a better me tomorrow than the "me" that I am today."
