The NAACP is offering leadership aimed at preserving the facilities and campus of the Middle School, previously known as the Pamlico County Training School/Pamlico Central School. This school represents a significant historical accomplishment initiated by a group of ordinary black citizens from a small town in Pamlico County during the Jim Crow era.
